Last year, during the height of the pandemic, Maine credit unions launched a month-long $100,000 fundraising initiative to help Good Shepherd Food Bank, community food pantries, and schools meet the unprecedented demand for food. This effort was enormously successful and in 30 days, our credit union network raised $230,000. With your help, we believe we can do it again!
To help commemorate National Hunger Awareness Month, we are holding another $100,000 Challenge. Our goal is to raise at least $100,000 in 30 days (but hopefully much more)! Our effort kicks off on June 1 and every dollar raised throughout the month will support Good Shepherd Food Bank, local food pantries, and meal sites across Maine.
Take our challenge and make a donation to end hunger in our state. All contributors will be recognized and businesses donating more than $250 can have their logos featured on this page.
Thank you for helping us make a difference!
